Fiscal Director
Under the direction of the SELPA Executive Director, the Fiscal Director will plan, organize, control and direct the fiscal procedures and functions of Stanislaus SELPA. Preparation of all fiscal reports are presented to the SELPA Superintendents’ Council. The Fiscal Director will act in an advisory capacity to the districts in special education funding. This department also organizes and conducts meetings with district administrators relative to SELPA fiscal matters.
Management Information Systems
Under the direction of the SELPA Executive Director, the Management Information Systems department can assist with a wide range of questions or issues within the SEIS/CALPADS/Registers & Billing arena.
MIS can assist with:
- Attendance Support
- Billing/Fee for Service
- Register Support
- Status of SEIS Record & changes (Pending/Eligible/DNQ Questions, Past History, etc.)
- Affirmed and Past IEPs
- Provider Questions (changing, adding, removing, review etc.)
- Grey’d out fields in SEIS (SSID #, Original SpEd Entry Date, Student ID # etc.)
- Manage User Accounts (Add, Edit, Delete, Change/Reset Password, Change Permissions)
- Student at another SELPA/District (look up/review student and record)
- Record Requests (researching, reviewing, and gathering all filed documents on a student)
- Duplicate Services and when to use DNR
- How to Amend a service
- Amendment Process
- Removing attachments in SEIS
- Transfer Request Questions
- Duplicate Student Records
- Missing services/information within service box or student record and how to correct
- Rush processing
- Student Change Form Questions

- Various Reports (Duplicate Service, Ethnicity, Disability Type, Duplicate SSID, Duplicate Date of Birth, Duplicate Student Name)
- Permanently Delete Students (usually duplicated record or incorrectly added)
- Support with IEP questions
- Support with clearing CALPADS errors to affirm
- Caseload corrections/questions (register issues, student should or should not show on register)
- Questions regarding what paperwork is needed and when (SE-14s, Record Changes, Interim vs. Re-Evaluation, 30 Day and Annual, etc.)

Physical Therapist
The SELPA Physical Therapist helps to ensure students can access the school environment by assessing the child's abilities to and participation in the school setting. After assessment, if services are deemed necessary but the IEP team, the physical therapist works with the educational team to make recommendations for progressing mobility skills and determining if equipment is needed to help a child meet their goals and objectives.
